Our last day of surgery is today. After breakfast we went to devotional led by Linda McCarty who had flown in last night.    She led our devotional today about Psalms 31 -  "In You Lord I will place my trust! Into your hands I commend my spirits."   Our patients from here in Guatemala are putting their lives in the hands of someone from another country that they don’t even know. We are the answer to their prayers!

It was another productive day today. Ten orthopedic total joint cases, several joint reconstructions and six ear, nose & throat cases were performed. ALL patients were so very appreciative!!

The most exciting thing that happened today is that Zimmer/Biomet has signed an agreement to provide Faith In Practice with joint components and instruments free of charge for the next 2+ years. This is a really, really big deal for us!! Our CEO, Linda McCarty signed the agreement with Adam Griner, the Zimmer /Biomet representative (who also helped out immensely in the OR). Many Faith In Practice supporters and board members joined together at the signing ceremony.  It is an exciting time!

Tonight we have our celebration dinner.  It will be nice to all come together to celebrate our new friendships and what we have through God accomplished!
