As a team, we completed 92 surgeries this week.
For many of us, this was our first trip to Guatemala as members of a Faith In Practice team. For others, this trip will go on to join many other trips in their memories. But for all of us, the week was encouraging, tiring, and inspiring. We spent nearly every moment in either fellowship or service, which was an important break from normal life for all of us.
We hosted one final chapel service before leaving Retalhuleu this morning, and for many of us, it was a rather sentimental exit as we said bye to our patients one last time.
Without donations, nothing that Faith In Practice does would be possible. Hopefully this blog has served as a testament to the good that Faith In Practice is doing in Guatemala and can inspire you to join in the mission (“share the mission”) in whatever manner you feel called to.
