Dear friends and family,

Today started like every other day this week: a devotional and prayer led by Tom, inspirational music from Ed and Kay. Breakfast was served, then off to the bus.

Today was not like every other day; it was our last day of the clinic. The flow of patients came in two large waves. Everyone was busy until around 4:30 the previous patient had been seen.

Just when you think every kind gesture has been, another surprise is around the corner. Our Faith in Practice Guatemalan volunteers presented each of us with beautiful handmade flowers and Joe and Vera Wiatt with a lovely handmade collage representing Faith and Practice’s work. We will cherish these forever. Tears and goodbyes were said!

Our mash-style clinic was disassembled, put back on the truck, and loaded buses. Another year of healing hands to people who are so very grateful!

Our journey ends, curtains close, and the cast of Estes Medical Clinic 729 takes a bow! Thanks for the memories!

God be with you and Bless you, Guatemala!
