This morning Dennis read us the quote “Be still and know that I am God”. He then gave us the opportunity to sit in silence for a moment and think about what that means to each of us. I think that for most of us it is a reminder that when things are chaotic and not going well, we need to remember that we are not in control. We need to remember that no matter what is going on in our lives, we must have faith that God is going to take care of us.  I think we see that faith in our patients every day.  They put their faith in God and believe that He will give them the best outcome.  They believe that Faith in Practice is the answer to their prayers because they know that they would otherwise  never get their surgery. It is amazing to see the amount faith these patients have in our abilities to help them, but more importantly in God.
