The team met up today at the Guatemala City Airport safe and on time. After some brief introductions, we boarded a big bus and traveled for about 6 hours to our hotel at Irtra. The accommodations here are beautiful, and the team was happy to finally arrive. At dinner we enjoyed getting to know each other a little bit better over an excellent meal. I got to have an in depth conversation with Dennis, our devotional leader, and about how it is his first trip with Faith In Practice. I’m very excited to hear his devotionals every morning and hear more about his experience here throughout the week. It was a long travel day and we are all tired, but we all look forward to seeing the hospital and meeting our patients tomorrow!
