Day 4 Blog
This morning we were greeted with coffee from the Casa de Fay foundation. All of their profits go back towards helping the hospital with its bills! The coffee was especially delicious today.
In Dr. Crotzer’s first case had a teratoma. Him and Dr. Kean then explained that some teratoma have teeth and hair. We did not expect this one to have a tooth, but Dr. Kean was able to find one alongside a massive hair ball. Dr. Mccrery removed a uterus without any complications!! She finished her surgery off with a sling. Those slings have been keeping Dr. Mccrery and Dr. Kean busy!
Post Op also had a successful day! I think their secret to success is the morning yoga that they get in. They know how to start the morning right in there!!
Some people went out after the long day, whereas others came straight back to the hotel. At the hotel, Casa de Fay had set up an area to buy their coffee. They also had really run bracelets. One of them was made from volcanic rock. They also had other more fine jewelry for sale.
