Day 3 started off with a cool morning walk to the hospital then the morning surgeries. A super busy day for everyone! Post Op started their morning right with yoga and zen music!! While we were in Post Op I got the opportunity to interview Jeanine! I asked her what her favorite part of working Post Op was. Her response was that she liked watching their faces fill with relief after they hear that the surgery is done and was successful! Jeanine said that they sometimes even giver her a hug when they hear!!
Miguel was so kind to provide our team with delicious snacks/treats. I enjoyed the Oreos the most because they tasted like home. Julia and Mary loved the Party Sticks that were filled with strawberries.
The afternoon was also filled with more surgeries! Dr. Crotzer and Dr. Mccrery collaborated on a surgery to remove a large uterus. I would consider it a very successful day in the hospital! I can’t wait to see what tomorrow holds!!
