The clinic today was busy and filled with purpose and the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals in need. This morning I started in the mobility clinic, we were ready and eager to provide mobility aids to those who require them. It is incredibly rewarding to see the smiles on people’s faces as they receive canes. walkers, crutches, or wheelchairs that enable them to move and live more independently.
I witness a lady who had recently suffered from a TIA and didn’t believe that she could walk. Val fit her for a leg brace and she took many steps. It’s moments like this that make our days so meaningful.
